Our Site is hosted by ValueWeb at www.valueweb.net who provides quite a range of statistics on our visitors. Here are some of the the numbers:
- Almost 100 different people log in every day (but see below for the MAX!)
- People log in from the whole world, but mostly from the US
- Most people go directly to a sub-page, especially Marcus’ Lego Page
- Marcus and Victor have the most popular personal pages
- Most people only look at three or four pages
- Total downloads per month are currently above 1 gigabyte (!)
- Many people start surfing by going to see HAL9000 (I really should finish that page soon)
- Total hits have gone up dramatically since the first pages were launched late 1997
- Max visitors for one day; 2,236, November 7, 2000 - what a day.
- Max download in one day; 1.4 GB on November 7, 2000 - of course
I still do not know what hit our site from November 7 to November 10 but it was seriously BIG TIME
HITTING! If you know, please let me know what made more than two thousand people visit in less than 24 hours.
