Our last trip in South East Asia went to Borneo. It was a great experience for everyone as we went deep into the jungle to meet the Giant Orang Utan, Headhunters, Snakes and Horn Billed Birds.

At Batang Ai National Park the visitors log showed 300 visitors the previous 12 months. There were seven visitors in February 1999 - we were five of them!

Not many bring small children in to this area because of malaria and others diseases. But we made it our first duty to make sure that Lucas Oscar was not bitten even once by a tick or a mosquito or anything else - with success.

Lucas Oscar learned to take the water slide alone

Shirts made it easier to avoid pests

Marcus fell overboard once during the river rafting

The snakes at the Hotel were really fun to hold and play with. Some of them were quite big.

Victor learned how to dive
