The Phonogram was Edison's best invention ever - and the one he was most proud of. This was his most original invention, his own idea and creation.

Electric light made Edison famous and rich, but Edison did not invent the light bulb. He only made a better and cheaper model. If Edison had not invented the light bulb, someone else would have done so.
