Here is my Tidal Wave (Tsunami) set.

It took me way over a week to complete my Tsunami. I used 8 days to build it and 2 days to program it.

It can shake like an earthquake, then heave a platform like the ocean floor and drive forward like a Tsunami racing towards a coast.

I faced many problems on the way. One problem was the width of the wave. If it was too wide it would bend so it would not be able to heave. The weight was also a big problem. If the wave was too heavy then the motor could not heave the ocean floor. At last it nearly worked perfectly, except that the top of the wave did not smash into the buildings because they were stuck. They had to sit tight so they did not fall off during the earthquake.

Here you can see how the Tidal Wave was heaved.

All is still calm on the ocean floor.

The Tidal Wave has stopped.

I had to put my RCX on wheels because it would be too heavy for the platform to carry.

This is the wheel.

The two carts are used as the top part of the Tidal Wave. They where supposed to fall off (but they did not).
