Here you can see a windmill and the book I copied it from; “The Way Things Work”. The book has over 270 pages all about gears, screws and mechanics.

This picture shows the inside of my windmill. I used two black wheels to make the grinders. The mill works perfectly. When the wind blows the mill wings turn the yellow tooth wheel. That turns a red tooth wheel on a shaft. The shaft leads down to a big gray tooth wheel which turns two other tooth wheels that are connected to a shaft holding the grinders.

My dad made supports for the shafts so the mill would work properly. He also made the walls of the mill.
