In the morning I left the Hotel to go diving at Racha Yai. We took a medium sized boat to get there. Nice view of the sea:
I like to go snorkeling. I have my own flippers, snorkel with mask and a brand new diving suit. At Racha Yai there are lots of corals and coral fish. Coral fish in corals:
There were lots of sea stars, some of them were blue. In water the blue color is very strong, but you can hardly see red. Blue sea star eating corals:
While I was snorkeling a deadly sea snake came at me. If it bites you two minutes later then you would be dead. I swam at top speed for the boat ladder.
Luckily, instead of coming up to bite us it only had to breath some air. Sea snake and fish: (the one I saw had white and black stripes)
Later one of the divers showed me a moraine eel. I could safely swim above it. It was hiding in an underwater coral cave. Moraine eel inside its cave:
On the way back from Racha Yai a giant sharks fin suddenly stuck out of the water. The giant shark came up to the boat and stuck its head up. When it did that we saw it was a whale shark. Whale
sharks have no teeth - but you have to watch out for its giant tail ! Some people wanted to jump into the water to the whale shark. I also wanted to do that. But the boat did not stop. Whale shark feeding near

It was a nice day. When I was back home at the Hotel I was very tired. I hope you liked to read my adventure !
